Practical family travel tips

  • Arrive in Advance: As there can be a lot to manage when traveling through the airport with small children, we recommend arriving 2,5-3 hours before departure. This allows ample time for unexpected situations and provides a more relaxed travel experience.

  • Pharmacy: If you need sunscreen, extra diapers, baby ointment, or medication, you'll find the airport pharmacy in Terminal 2 just before the security checkpoint.
See the pharmacy's opening hours here.

  • Follow the security family lane: All families with young children under approximately 6 years old can use the family lane through the security checkpoint.

  • SAS Customer Family Lounge: Remember that SAS travelers with Business or Plus class tickets have access to the SAS family lounge, which features toys and children's television for kids of all ages. Children aged 0-2 years enter for free, and entrance can also be purchased by non-members.

  • Changing Facilities: In addition to the babylounge, there are changing facilities available in many of the airport's restrooms. Look for the icons below:

Baby food in carry-on luggage

As baby food is exempt from the liquid rules, you are allowed to bring more than 100 ml of baby food, squeeze pouches with puree and smoothies, breast milk, water, and boiling water in your carry-on luggage to meet the needs during the entire journey.

Both baby food and liquids should be placed visibly in a tray during the security screening. The baby food may be selected for additional security checks.
