What does carry-on baggage include?

Carry-on baggage refers to the luggage that you take with you on board the aircraft.

It can include:

  • Outerwear, jackets, hats, gloves, scarves, etc.
  • Smaller bags that can fit under the aircraft seat
  • Small suitcases that can be stored in the aircraft cabin
  • Small electronics such as laptops, tablets, headphones, etc.
  • Various necessary equipment for babies and small children
  • Strollers, etc.

How much carry-on baggage am I allowed to bring?

  • Outerwear: Jackets, hats, gloves, scarves, etc.
  • Liquids in a 1-liter bag: If you have liquids, they must be under 100 ml and placed in a resealable 1-liter bag in your carry-on baggage.
  • Baby food: As baby food is exempt from liquid restrictions, you are allowed to bring more than 100 ml, covering the needs for the entire journey.
  • 1 x bag under the seat: For example, a handbag, laptop bag, or similar. The size depends on the rules of your airline and your ticket type.
  • 1 x carry-on bag or small suitcase - often for a fee: The size depends on the rules of your airline and your ticket type.

Airport purchases in carry-on baggage

You are allowed to bring bags containing TAX-FREE items and other purchases from airport shops on board the aircraft along with your carry-on baggage, within a reasonable limit.

Purchases made at the airport after the security checkpoint are not counted towards liquid restrictions or other rules for carry-on baggage.
